The Wonder Lab was created by a husband-and-wife team who are passionate about making STEM accessible and fun for young children. Our mission is to encourage STEM-inspired play to ignite children’s natural curiosity and build their confidence as learners.

 

Kate is a former elementary school science teacher and has created classes, track out camps, and summer camps for play spaces and preschools. She loves creating fun and engaging programming that builds understanding of STEM content.

Saul has over 15 years of experience in financial services and is passionate about building a business that makes valuable contributions to the local community. As a novice entrepreneur, Saul is inspired by the drive and dedication of the small business community and is thrilled about growing The Wonder Lab alongside other Durham businesses.

As parents of young children, Kate & Saul are looking forward to connecting with other families in the area. You may also see our two daughters (ages 4 & 6) joining in the fun at The Wonder Lab.
