On-site Enrichment
Wonder Lab Workshops bring hands-on STEM enrichment directly to your preschool, daycare, or special event! Our 30-minute sessions are designed for preschool children ages 3-5 with a maximum of 18 children per class. Choose a theme and date that works for you and we will bring The Wonder Lab to you!

Each theme includes developmentally appropriate, hands-on experiences that promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration. Through guided exploration, students engage with STEM concepts in ways that are interactive, meaningful, and aligned with early learning best practices.

Children learn best when they're playing! Our workshops embrace learning through play by setting up exciting activities that invite children to explore, tinker, and create in ways that feel like play—while naturally building problem-solving skills, curiosity, and confidence in STEM.

Our Workshop Topics
Each workshop includes 6 hands-on STEM activity centers, including a playdough activity (with homemade playdough that's yours to keep!) and a sensory bin. Check out our themes below or create your own custom theme by mixing and matching activities (some restrictions apply, custom themes are subject to an additional $50 fee).
Play around with our special robots designed specifically for preschool students! Program a robot to draw a shape, help robots navigate by color, build a maze for vibrating Hexbugs, construct robots and build them an outer space city, and create your own robots with playdough and loose parts this fun and hands-on STEM class!

Explore the STEM in the coldest season as we send snowflakes flying through the wind tunnel, dig through an arctic world sensory bin, move ice skaters with magnets and build play dough snowmen with loose parts!
Welcome Winter
Launch into this fun STEM class as we dig through a glowing star sensory bin, melt comets, launch rockets, make shooting stars, compare planets, and make craters in moon play dough!
Space & Planets
Calling all inventors! Get your gears turning as we experiment with ramps, wheels, pulleys, levers, wedges and gears in this fun class all about different simple machines.
Simple Machines
Learn about the power of magnets and how they attract and repel as we build kid-size magnetic forts, work magnetic pulleys and fishing rods to see what sticks, dig for magnetic chips in rainbow rice, and run magnetic balls down ramps!
Magnet Magic
Explore geometry through hands-on activities! Use shapes to stamp with washable ink, sort glowing shapes on the light table, build and crawl through big 3-D shapes, and experiment with how much rice it takes to fill containers of different shapes.
Silly Shapes
Investigate the innerworkings of our bodies as we examine real x-rays, assemble skeletons, listen for and count heartbeats, make 3-D playdough organs and use a water pump to demonstrate how the human heart works!'
Human Body
Experiment with the forces of air and wind as we blow bubbles, test materials in the wind tunnel, use air to knock down towers, move feathers with fans and build with suction cups!
Float & Fly
Take a trip back in time as we learn about dinosaur adaptations! Take on the role of meat eater and plant eater as we use dinosaur puppets to catch hexbugs and munch leaves, squish skeletons into playdough to learn about fossils and assemble loose part bones into your own species!
Dinosaurs
Learn about different birds & their adaptations including nest types, beak shape, diet and colors! Learn how different birds make their nest and build your own to mimic the processes!
Birds & Nests
Experiment with force and motion as we play with gravity, friction and momentum! Run balls down ramps big and small, roll textured balls through playdough to make prints, experiment with friction on ramps and roll colorful balls into rainbow rice!

Solve problems for these classic fairytale friends as you build a castle for Cinderella, mix up some oatmeal for Goldilocks, build with playdough like the three little pigs, and build a wall for Humpty Dumpty!
