STEM Club - November (4 sessions)

November STEM Club Dates: 11/4, 11/11, 11/18, 11/25 ($31 per session)

Class Description

STEM Club is the perfect opportunity for your preschooler to learn about STEM topics through play! This 2.5 hour drop-off program gives kids a chance to make new friends, learn about STEM concepts through hands-on experiences, and make their own process-oriented maker projects to take home. This program also includes snack (fresh fruit and a choice of crunchy snacks from our play space). Caregivers will have an opportunity to select their child’s snack upon arrival, and kids may bring a snack from home if desired. STEM Club begins in the play space to give kids an opportunity to settle in, use the bathroom, and take a peek at all the exciting activities we have planned. After a quick snack, kids will join a brief circle time as we introduce the topic of the day and then jump into our engaging STEM centers! After this hands-on exploration time, kids will solidify their understanding as they create an open-ended maker project that aligns with the weekly theme. STEM Club also includes additional activities incorporated into our play space to give kids even more opportunities to learn through play! We encourage families to book our monthly registration option to help kids build relationships and foster a sense of community. Monthly registration also offers the best value! Single sessions are also available. STEM Club participants must be at least age 3 by their first class date and potty independent (able to use the bathroom without assistance). We will prompt kids to use the bathroom when they arrive. If a child has repeated potty accidents, we will call their caregivers for early pickup and they may not be able to continue in the program. STEM Club is a drop-off program with exclusive use of our facility. We ask that parents drop children off between 2:00 - 2:15 and return to pick up their child between 4:15-4:30. If you need to drop off after 2:15 or pick up before 4:15, please email or call us to let us know. For everyone’s safety and because this is a drop-off class, we will not be able to accommodate parents or caregivers staying in our facility during STEM Club. Participants should bring the following to each STEM Club session: - Socks (we are a socks-only play space) - Refillable water bottle - Extra set of clothes (in case of messy play and/or potty accidents) - Extra snack if desired (snack is provided) To view weekly class themes, please visit our STEM Club webpage!
